  What weather to expect during your vacation?

The island is quite vast and full of treasures to discover. But your planning may be different depending on the period you have booked: Guadeloupe has two distinct climates.

From December to May, the island will be very sunny, so you can enjoy temperatures ranging from 25 to 30°C. From June to November, on the other hand, it will be hot but the weather will be humid. In Guadeloupe, showers can last from a few seconds to an hour.

Renting a car in Guadeloupe: a must for a free stay

To be able to move around freely, having a car is essential. There are few buses in Guadeloupe and public transportation does not serve every corner of the island.

Please note: Gas prices are fixed for each station on the island. Don't waste time comparing prices to find cheaper elsewhere

Instead, enjoy your stay.

On the roads, it is quite easy to find your way: there are four national roads that go around the island and a few secondary roads. To take full advantage of your walks and visit unusual places, our teams recommend you to rent a GPS containing the cartography of Guadeloupe.

If you use Google Maps or Waze with your phone for your car trips, ask your operator to avoid being overcharged for the use of your cellular data outside of France.
