Europcar Guadeloupe provides its customers with roadside assistance 7 days a week. The call number is 0690 352 952. It appears on the rental contract and the vehicle's key ring. In case of a technical incident, our assistance service will intervene as soon as possible to put the immobilized vehicle back into service or to make a change on site. In case of an accident, make sure to secure the area and inform, as soon as possible, the police or gendarmerie services as well as Europcar Guadeloupe. Then, complete the accident report (available in the vehicle's glove compartment) with the other party (if a third party is involved). Be particularly careful when drawing up this document, by filling in all the information requested and by being as precise as possible. If you do, you risk being held liable.
In case of loss of the vehicle's keys, you must contact the Europcar Guadeloupe Assistance service at 0690 352 952, for an intervention as soon as possible. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of renewing the key and repatriating the vehicle, as our insurance and additional guarantees do not cover this type of incident.
If the vehicle is stolen, you must first file a complaint with the police or gendarmerie authorities. You must then go to the Europcar agency where you took possession of the vehicle and give the agent in charge the vehicle's keys and the declaration of theft established following your complaint. An excess may be charged to you, depending on the package you have subscribed. For more details, please consult our General Rental Conditions
No, the exit of the vehicles out of "continental" Guadeloupe is not authorized, even towards a dependency (Marie Galante, Désirade...)
All our vehicles are inspected upon return from each rental and regularly serviced. However, depending on the distance you will have to cover during your stay, you will be asked to ensure the proper use of the vehicle, in particular by monitoring the water, oil and tire pressure levels. Europcar's technical staff is at your disposal to check the vehicle at your request during the opening hours of our agencies. In addition, do not hesitate to report immediately any abnormally illuminated signal on the dashboard, so that our technicians can take preventive action.
