Our Online Terms and Conditions

Upon validation of your online booking, you will have to pay the whole of your reservation (rental + options or additional guarantees) on our secured site.

Upon your arrival in Guadeloupe, you will also be able to subscribe to additional options or insurances.

By accepting those General Terms and Conditions, you expressly authorize Europcar Guadeloupe to debit your credit card from the total amount of your voucher (the amount of the rental for the category and dates chosen, including VAT, and selected options)

Once your online booking is validated, you will receive your voucher, with details of your reservation. Please note that you must keep your voucher since you will have to present this voucher as prove of reservation on the pick-up date.

 

 

A – Cancellation/Modification Insurance

Europcar Guadeloupe offers you an optional guarantee, which you can only purchase online, and which enable you to amend or cancel our reservation shall you have unforeseen circumstances.

Besides, by opting for your "Modification / Cancellation" insurance, you will be able to make amends just hours before the pick-up time.

Please note this insurance applies only to prepaid bookings on www.en.europcar-guadeloupe.com website and cannot be subscribed after validation of the reservation.

The conditions of application are detailed below.


B – On the vehicle pick-up date 

Upon delivery of the vehicle, please bring the following documents, without which the vehicle won’t be delivered to you:

  • A debit card in your name (name of the person on the reservation), please not that we accept only VISA or MASTERCARD (no prepaid card, no credit card, Electron, Maestro)

  • An ID at your name (name of the person on the reservation)

  • A valid driver's license at your name (name of the person on the reservation)

  • When picking-up the vehicle, a deposit of 800€ will be taken from your debit card, so please make sure to have sufficient amount available on your bank account.


C – Online Booking Cancellation/Modification

Any request for changes must be sent by e-mail to our Call Centre  at info@europcar-guadeloupe.com

Those modifications are however subject to the following conditions:

  • If you have opted for the "Cancellation / Modification" insurance, you can change your reservation until the last minute.

  • If the total of the amended reservation is greater than the total of the initial reservation, you will pay the difference when validating your changes

  • If the total of the amended reservation is lower than the total of the initial reservation, the difference will be refunded by check, at the end of the rental.

  • If you didn’t purchase the "Cancellation / Modification" insurance, you can modify your reservation 72 hours prior to the pick-up date. After this period, changes to your reservation will be possible.

Besides,

  • If the amount of the amended reservation is greater than the amount of the initial reservation, you will pay the difference when validating the change

  • If the amount of the amended reservation is lower than the original booking amount, no refund or compensation will be given to you

 

Please note that no changes can be made AFTER the pick-up date and time and no compensation will be given, even if you have purchase the "Cancellation / Modification" insurance.

 

D - Cancellation of online prepaid reservation

It is not possible to cancel an online booking. In order to close your file, you must send an e-mail to our Europcar Guadeloupe Call Center (info@europcar-guadeloupe.com) with reference of your file. An confirmation email will be sent to you to let you know that your request has been taken into account.

However, cancellations remain subject to conditions:

  • If you have purchased the "Cancellation / Modification" insurance, you can cancel your reservation until the last minute.

  • The total prepaid amount (minus the "Cancellation / Modification" insurance fee) will be refunded by check.

If you haven’t purchases the "Cancellation / Modification" insurance, you can cancel your reservation, under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation on D-30 * and beyond: full refund of the total amount, minus file fees (50 € INC VAT)

  • Cancellation between D-29 * and D-15 *: refund of 50% of the total amount

  • Cancellation between D-14 * and D-3 *: refund of 25% of the total amount

  • Cancellation between D-2 * and D *: no refund

 

Please note that no changes can be made AFTER the pick-up date and time and no compensation will be given, even if you have purchase the "Cancellation / Modification" insurance.

E - Garantee of the reservation

Your reservation is guaranteed until the pick-up time specified on your reservation, with a grace period of 30 minutes.

Please make sure to arrive on time and do not forget to give us information about your flight (flight number) . For reservation at our airport agency the reservation is guaranteed until one hour after the arrival time specified in your reservation, if the flight number has been filled in.

Please note that if your arrival is schedule after our opening hours an extra charge for "late arrival" will be apply.

 

F - No Show

The reservation is guaranteed until the pick-up time with a grace period of 30 minutes (60minutes for our airport agency). Beyond this grace period, you will be considered as "NO SHOW" (customer not shown) and your reservation will automatically be canceled.

Please note that cancellation conditions detailed in paragraph 4- C will apply.

 

G - Advanced Restitution

Please note that if you decide to shorten your rental and return the vehicle before the end of your rental, your unused days will NOT be refunded.
