In our constant concern to provide you with the most complete information possible and to ensure you a serene trip on the Europcar Guadeloupe network, we invite you to read the conditions related to your online reservation.

However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the conditions detailed below do not concern the "Car Rental" service contract but only the online sales conditions.

WARNING: Any driver (regardless of age) must hold a driver's license for at least one year in order to rent a vehicle on the site europcar-guadeloupe.com and benefit from the Europcar Guadeloupe insurance contract

Any driver aged between 21 and 23 years old at the time of rental (regardless of the date of obtaining his driving license) must pay a Young Driver Protection of 50€ TTC, in order to benefit from the Europcar Guadeloupe insurance contract. When picking up the vehicle, a 800€ deposit will be required on your credit card, make sure you have enough money available.

This guarantee can be subscribed online when booking or at the Europcar Guadeloupe counter, when picking up the vehicle.

The "Car Rental" contract will be concluded on the spot, when picking up the vehicle and is governed by separate General Rental Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions reduces your statutory rights to reimbursement. Neither party shall be liable for its performance in the event of force majeure, as defined by regulatory authorities, which prevents either party from fulfilling its obligations. When validating your file online, you will have to pay for the entirety of your reservation (rental + options or additional guarantees) on our secure site. When you arrive in Guadeloupe, you can however complete your choices by subscribing to additional rental options when you write your rental contract.

By accepting the present General Conditions, you expressly authorize Europcar Guadeloupe to debit your credit card for the total amount of the voucher (= the amount of the rental for the chosen category and dates, the various taxes, including VAT, as well as the selected options)

After validation of your file online, you will receive your voucher with a nominal value, summarizing the details of your reservation. This document must be presented when you pick up the vehicle.

A - Payment in the Agency

By choosing the payment method "payment in agency", a deposit of 20% of the amount of the reservation of the vehicle will be requested in order to validate your reservation.

In case of cancellation of your reservation, the deposit will not be refunded. Postponement of the reservation is not possible.

NB: The Europcar Promo and Partner Codes are only valid for online payments and do not apply to payments in the agency.

B - Picking up the vehicle

Upon delivery of the vehicle, please bring the following documents, without which the vehicle cannot be delivered to you: A credit card in your name (name of the person listed on the reservation) VISA or MASTERCARD type (no prepaid card, revolving credit, Electron, Maestro) An identity document in your name (name of the person on the reservation) A valid driver's license in your name (name of the person listed on the reservation) When picking up the vehicle, a deposit of 800€ will be required on your credit card, make sure you have enough money available.

C - Cancellation and Modification Insurance

In order to ensure you the most flexible conditions of modification or cancellation in case of unforeseen events, Europcar Guadeloupe offers you an optional guarantee, sold exclusively online. Thus, the "Modification/Cancellation" guarantee allows you to make changes, even late, with complete peace of mind. Note that this guarantee applies only to prepaid packages on the europcar-guadeloupe.com website and cannot be subscribed after the validation of the reservation. The conditions of application are detailed below.

D - Modification of the reservation with online payment

Since reservations cannot be modified online, any request for change must be sent by email to the Europcar Guadeloupe Reservation Center (reservation.europcar@gbh.fr) These changes are subject to conditions: If you have subscribed to the "Cancellation/Modification" guarantee, you will be able to modify your reservation until the last minute. If the amount of the modified reservation is higher than the amount of the initial reservation, you will pay the difference when validating the modification If the amount of the modified reservation is less than the amount of the initial reservation, the difference will be reimbursed to you by check, after your file has been processed by our accounting services, at the end of the rental period.

In addition,

If you have not subscribed to the "Cancellation/Modification" guarantee, you can modify your reservation up to 48 hours before picking up the vehicle. An authorized modification. If the amount of the modified reservation is higher than the amount of the initial reservation, you will have to pay the difference when validating the modification If the amount of the modified reservation is lower than the amount of the initial reservation, no refund or compensation will be granted

Please note that no modification can be made AFTER the scheduled pick-up date and time and no compensation will be granted, even if you have taken out "Cancellation/Modification" insurance.

E - Cancellation of the reservation with online payment

It is not possible to cancel a reservation online. To invalidate a file, you must send an email to Europcar Guadeloupe Customer Service (gp_customerservice@gbh.fr) specifying the references of the file. You will then receive a message informing you that your request has been taken into account.

Please note that refunds are made within 30 working days from the date your request is taken into account.

However, cancellations are subject to conditions: If you have purchased Cancellation/Change Insurance, you may cancel your reservation up until the last minute.

The total prepaid amount (minus the "Cancellation/Change" insurance) will be reimbursed to you after your file has been processed by our accounting services.

If you have not taken out Cancellation/Change Insurance, you may cancel your reservation under the following conditions :

For cancellations made at least 30 days before the scheduled start of the rental period, the client will be reimbursed the amount of the rental, less a cancellation fee of 50 euros

For cancellations made between D-29 days and D-15 days before the scheduled start of the rental period, the Client will be reimbursed the amount of the rental, less a cancellation fee of 50% of the total amount of the reservation, which will not be less than 50 euros;

For cancellations made between D-14 days and D-3 days before the scheduled start of the rental period, the Client will be reimbursed the amount of the rental, less cancellation fees corresponding to 75% of the total amount of the reservation, which cannot be less than 50 euros;

No refund will be made by the Renter for a cancellation made less than 3 days before the scheduled start date of the rental, or if the Customer does not rent the vehicle on the reserved date.

Please note that no cancellation can be made AFTER the scheduled pick-up date and time and no compensation will be granted, even if the "Cancellation/Change" insurance is taken out.

F - Guarantee of the reservation

Your reservation is guaranteed until the scheduled pick-up time of the vehicle, plus a tolerance period of 30 minutes.

We therefore invite you to be as precise as possible in indicating your arrival time and to detail your flight number, for any rental made from our agency at the Pôle Caraïbes airport. For pick-ups scheduled from this agency, the reservation is guaranteed until one hour after the arrival time specified in your reservation, if the flight number has been correctly entered.

Please note, however, that if you arrive outside of normal business hours, a "late arrival" surcharge will apply.

G - No show

The reservation is guaranteed until the scheduled pick-up time with a 30-minute grace period (60 minutes at the airport). After this grace period, you will be considered as a "NO SHOW" and the reservation will be automatically cancelled.

In this case, the cancellation conditions detailed in paragraph 7 of our Terms and Conditions will apply.

H - Early Return

If you decide to shorten your rental and return the vehicle before the scheduled end of the rental period, the unused days will not be refunded, modified, postponed or exchanged for a credit note.
